NEET UG — National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Guide
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is India's single national entrance exam for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other undergraduate medical courses. Conducted by NTA, it tests Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from NCERT Classes 11 and 12 over 200 questions in 3 hours 20 minutes.
What is NEET?
NEET UG is mandatory for admission to medical and dental undergraduate programmes across India (except institutions exempted by policy). Over 20 lakh candidates appear annually, making structured mock practice essential.
NEET Exam Pattern
NEET has 200 questions (180 to be attempted) from Physics (45), Chemistry (45), Botany (45), and Zoology (45). The exam is pen-and-paper or CBT as announced by NTA for each session.
